I hope to get all the pictures posted this weekend. Hope you had a good time at the cook out, there was a lot of good flying and great food. The one thing I like the best was great fellowship and fun time. We have not seen that many people out at the field in a long time. I hope there are many more events like this one.

I guess people who park planes in trees don't need practice.

Kenny, how is the best way and safest way to store batteries during the winter? nicads, lipos BAB I'm working on the minutes.

JG - nicads can be stored full charged. Lipos need to be discharged down to 3.8volts per cell - about 1/2 rated capacity. Lipos can become damaged if left full charged. Also don't leave them discharged below 3.8v per cell or your sweet bundle of a battery may not like you! If you don't have a way to check each cell, discharge the battery down to 11.4v for 3-cell, 7.6v for 2-cell

Sorry about Sunday, didn't think you were coming out due to not having your plane ready. also I got caught up in watching football, went outside once and my feet got cold so I went back inside and watched more football.

It was good to see some people out at the field Sunday. Thank goodness for the wind or Forrest would still be in the tree. Great way to start the season.
